Children Are Wet Cement (Birth Through Hi-School Years)

20th October 2013

Parents encourage their children to strive for achievement and try to shield them from the dangers of the outside world.

They recognize it is their God-given responsibility to care for and guide their children.  Proverbs 1:8-9 says, “Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.”

  • Are there times when the best thing we can do for our children is to back off?
  • Are you tired of saying the same things over and over to your children and not getting results?
  • Do you find yourself giving in to your kids’ demands too easily and/or yelling a lot?

Learn how to gain more cooperation from your children, even at a young age; without repeating, reminding, nagging, or yelling.

Let’s look at some insights on how we can better communicate with our children and manage situations so we fulfil God’s desire for each one to be conformed to the image of His Son.

Pastor Angelina Eu graduated with a Master of Arts in Christian Education from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri in 1986.
